SweetLake Chemical Ltd. celebrated its 10th Anniversary on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at its new corporate headquarters in the Historical Heights area. SweetLake Chemical began operations in 1998 and has quickly become a leading chemicals distributor with additional offices in Lake Charles, La., Hong-Kong and our newest 30,000 square foot world-class facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
Exceptional Culinary Delights and fine spirits were provided by The Crawfish Lab and Daniel’s Meat Market & BBQ. For our youngest friends we offered face painting, balloon characters, blow up prize machine and Jo-Jo the Clown. Fun was had by all!

Houston (February 25, 2008) - SweetLake Chemical, an award-winning worldwide chemical distributor, has purchased a building in the Heights and will relocate its corporate headquarters from Houston's Memorial area to this site. Located at 446 Heights Blvd., the remodeled turn of the century home has almost 7,500-square feet.
"SweetLake Chemical has experienced a 32 percent growth rate since 2006 and has received numerous awards as a fast-growing business," said Paul F. Montealegre, president, SweetLake Chemical. "The Heights is a great location situated close to downtown and many of our customers. Our new headquarters will allow us to grow, while still offering stand-out customer service."
SweetLake was formed in 1998. In addition to its Houston base, the company has offices in Lake Charles, La., Hong Kong, and a new 30,000 square foot office/warehouse in Monterrey, Mexico.
The company offers chemical solutions for a variety of industries including food, personal care, detergents, paint coatings and inks, pharmaceuticals, plastics, oilfield/refineries, lubricants, and more. Distributed products include acids, alcohols, solvents, silicones, and more. SweetLake Chemical has expanded its facilities in Monterrey, Mexico. The Houston, Texas-based chemicals distributor has recently completed renovating and updating its sales office there to handle its increasing business in Latin America. Among the updates: additional warehousing capability to handle the flow of products across the border.
